Dear Madam:
I am writing to ask for prayer for my daughter. My daughter lives in Colorado Springs. I do not live near my daughter.
My daughter has completely walked away from trusting Jesus and walked away from the faith. She lived for Jesus during her teenage years and her first couple years of college.
I believe that God is indeed able to save to the uttermost. I do believe that His arm is Not shortened and that He, indeed, has ALL power to save.
I maintain a daily walk of prayer of faith in believing for her.
I need help. I am begging the faithful saints in the city where my daughter lives to jump in the trench with me and pray for my unsaved, unbelieving child that is hostile to the gospel anymore. I am praying for the true churches in Colorado Springs. I pray that faithful saints would be burdened to pray for the lost in your city. I pray that evangelism and outreach would explode in your city. God have mercy on Colorado Springs!
She is 22 years old. Her name is Hope. She is a first-line, first responder in Colorado Springs. A dangerous occupation in the culture right now.
Our relationship is destroyed (not my choice). I have pleaded for reconciliation however that could/may look like to no avail. I, of course, am heartbroken and beyond sad.
I pray daily that Jesus would send the angel of His presence to direct her every footstep. And that every footstep would lead to the foot of the cross in submission to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of her life. I pray asking Holy Spirit to convict her of sin. I pray that the scales of rebellion and unbelief would fall from her eyes. I pray asking Holy Spirit to send laborers into the field of her life. I pray asking Holy Spirit to till her heart and make it fertile soil for the gospel along with many many other prayers.
She is a single woman there. I also pray Jesus brings a husband. A man in whom the spirit of Isaiah 11:2 rests upon.
