Chris joined Mountain Springs Church as the Young Adults Pastor after retiring from decades of government service, including the last 15 years in Colorado Springs. Originally from Michigan, him and wife Lisa were married in 2002, and together they began praying for an opportunity to move west—a prayer God answered when they moved to Colorado Springs in 2011. Since then, God has opened many ministry opportunities for them, including helping lead a church plant, sponsoring Air Force Academy cadets, and discipling young adults through mentoring and hospitality. Chris has also pursued an advanced degree in theology and has a deep passion for discipleship, spiritual formation, and apologetics. Chris and Lisa are excited to serve the young adults of Mountain Springs and be part of the kingdom work God is doing in and through the church.
