Our desire is for each child at Mountain Springs Church to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and friend.
At our regular weekend services we “Enjoy God” by creating experiences where we encounter God’s presence. We “Grow In Truth” each weekend by teaching the Big God story. Our desire is to equip your children to hear God’s voice. We “Live The Mission” by challenging children to love God and love others (Matthew 22:37). We “Share Life” with the children through a variety of activities that are designed to build relationships. This is God’s desire for all of us. We want to see parents be the primary disciple makers of their children. Our goal is to inspire, equip, and support you towards that end. We challenge parents to partner with us as you lead and disciple your children (Deuteronomy 6:4-7).
The goal of this area is to create an environment of nurturing and love. The children who attend “The Grove” will be given the opportunity to hear God’s Word through picture stories from the Old and New Testaments. We reinforce God’s love through fun worship and interactive play with other children.
The goal of “The Backyard” is to give children a life-long impression of the heart of God and what He has designed for their future. We join together as a large group to engage in worship and give each child the opportunity to learn about the Bible through stories from the Old and New Testaments, brought to life by storytelling and skits. We then create community through small group activities and age appropriate responses.
The “Tree House” is an environment designed to build faith community and grow in relationship with God. As we worship together in a high energy environment, we look to encounter God’s presence. As we are taught from God’s Word through storytelling, we challenge the kids to hear God’s voice. In our small group times, we look to engage in games, activities, and discussions that challenge us to be a part of the Big God Story.
Propel is a ministry designed to push or “propel” this group of students into the next chapter of life. We want to bridge the gap between childhood and becoming a teenager. At this age, there is a lot of change happening and even uncertainty surrounding personal identity. We look to reinforce each child to KNOW who they are in Christ. In this environment, we teach God’s Word, dig deep into God’s Presence, share life in small groups / activities, and challenge the students to be missional as they walk through life each day.
