MomCo is short for “mom community” (formerly MOPS). We are a group of moms who come together every other week to encourage and support one another. We’re not a Bible study; the mission of MomCo is to help moms of young children embrace their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in a relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Our theme for this year, chosen by the international MomCo organization, is “Make it Awkward” – but in a good way! The four tenets are own your story, speak kindness, audacious faith, and enjoy the joy. We’re going to get outside our comfort zones together and watch what God can do in our relationships and motherhood journeys! We offer two biweekly options: Thursday evenings from 6:15-8:15 or Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00. Both AM and PM meetings include childcare. Our time together includes dinner/breakfast, fellowship, a speaker or video on topics relevant to moms, group discussion, and often a creative activity or craft. We also have events between meetings! We strongly believe that community is built, not found, and that you will get out of it what you put in! We can’t wait to see you there!
