I hope this message finds you in good health and good spirits. I am reaching out to the church for prayer requests for my mother, BB.

Back in December 2025, my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with metastases to her bones and liver. She was cancer free for 12 years prior to her diagnosis. While this news was (and is, every day) a heartbreak to all of those that love her, she is walking through this battle with the strength and grace only her Faith in God can give her. Watching her courage and unwavering Faith through this entire journey, even on her worst days, is a testament to her love for God and her faith that there is a plan, even in this disaster.

Since her high school years, mom has been an avid Christian. She has used her artistic talent to glorify Him with photography and visual arts, including scripture in her creations. She has taken part in countless Bible studies over the years, and always been an active member of churches in our community. All throughout my life, she has independently studied various topics of our Faith… along with binders upon binders of her own studies, she even has “her scroll” as we fondly call it, that she keeps to share. It is quite literally a 20 x 6 foot long role of paper, detailing numerous topics important in present-day belief. I could go on, but the point in sharing this is to convey that she loves God with her entire soul, and it is obvious in everything she does, and to everyone she meets. She is so full of the light and love of God, the warmth of her presence is like the sun.

I am asking for prayers for her, and for her healing. Stage IV cancer is not treatable by medicine or any human means, but if our Lord can create this beautiful universe and everything in it, I believe He can heal her if it is His will. I am asking, begging, for her life, and I am asking for you to pray too, and to share her story so that others may join in prayer for my beautiful mom, BB. Thank you so much.
