Born in the small town of Zanesville, Ohio, Chip was raised in a Catholic family with 9 siblings. Though he had a reverent fear of God, it wasn’t until he and his wife Corinne went forward at an Easter service in 1990 that he embraced a personal relationship with Jesus. It really is an amazing story of faith and we encourage to ask Chip about it one day. And something else that is interesting about them? Chip met Corinne on a research boat in southern California when he was an oceanographer and she was a marine tech and they were married on a schooner in San Diego.
Chip, Corrinne and their daughter (who is an ER nurse in Colorado Springs) are passionate about international missions and making an impact around the world. In addition to serving with others in our community and abroad, Chip works with an incredible team of volunteers to oversee the Aquaponic Garden Greenhouse which provides fresh produce to hundreds of food insecure families in our community.
