John was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois in a family with strong Christian values. He and his wife have been married 48 years and have 2 married children and 5 grandchildren. John met his wife, Janet in high school after her family moved to Wheaton from Paris. He loves to fish while taking in the beauty of God’s creation. The favorite part of his job is to help people see God at work through the events in their lives. He owned a remodeling business for 34 years before God called him back to school in his mid-50s. After earning a Master’s degree in Counseling Ministries from Wheaton College, God transitioned John from the repair and restoration of homes to the repair and restoration of lives.
