Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Tishah grew up in a grounded Christian military home and began serving the Lord in church middle school as a Bible class teacher’s aide. Being born with severe health challenges, hospitals were like home, where she loved praising the Lord and praying with others around her. Tishah worked professionally in Human Resources while doing the things she loves most, driving her convertible (top-down!), playing club volleyball, ballroom dancing, prayer journaling, spending time with friends and serving others. In 2005, Tishah met and married the love of her life Terry, a die-hard Kansas City Chief’s fan, then after several Colorado vacations, they decided in 2009 to move to Littleton, CO. Since moving to Colorado, she’s discovered more appreciation for the simple things in life like reading/studying by the creek in solitude, nature walks, kayaking, e-biking, appreciating wildlife and chasing Fall foliage. Professionally, she’s been working in hospital human resources and senior care while volunteering in spiritual care and reception services. Tishah and her husband moved to Colorado Springs for a job opportunity in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic where getting settled has been a rocky, challenging road, yet through it all, the Lord has been faithful and true in His provision and care. We are so excited to have Tishah on the MSC team!
