2025 Vision & strategy

This year, we are embracing our calling of Empowering God’s people to restore the world. We believe 2025 is a year of great increase—a season where God will grow our faith, expand our reach, and deepen our impact in transforming lives and communities. Through intentional discipleship, vibrant worship, and bold and restorative acts of service, we are equipping believers to carry God’s hope and healing to a world in need. Join us as we step into this extraordinary year with faith, unity, and a renewed passion for His Kingdom work.

Verses we are praying over this year

2025 Scriptures

Of the increase of his government and of peace (shalom) there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Isaiah 9:7

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

1 COrinthians 4:1-2

Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.

2 Corinthians 6:3-10

And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.” And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. There were about twelve men in all. And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God. But when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them and took the disciples with him, reasoning daily in the hall of Tyrannus. This continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

Our mission

This moment captures the heart of our mission: Transforming lives from the neighborhoods to the nations by the power of God’s love. Baptism is a beautiful picture of personal renewal and spiritual transformation, as we declare our new life with Christ. It’s through His love that we see lives changed, communities restored, and the Gospel shared far and wide. From your neighborhood to the ends of the earth, God’s love is moving—and you’re invited to be part of the story.

OUR MINISTRY PATHWAY

Funnel to Field

Our ministry pathway is designed to move people from the funnel to the field. The funnel represents our wide-reaching efforts to welcome and engage people, just as Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:9-10). We create intentional spaces where anyone can encounter God’s love and take their first steps in faith. But the journey doesn’t stop there. Jesus also said, “The fields are white unto harvest, but the laborers are few.” (John 4:35) As a church, we equip and empower people to step into the fields—both locally and globally—living out their faith through mission and ministry, bringing hope and restoration to a world in need.

Life Transformation

We are committed to seeing a gospel movement of societal transformation happen through the progression of four key relational quadrants: Relate, Engage, Disciple, and Lead. We believe people are not only saved from their story but also saved for a Kingdom story. By building authentic relationships, fostering meaningful engagement, growing as disciples of Jesus, and stepping into leadership, we help individuals discover their God-given purpose. Our desire is to see people not just grow in their faith but to do great exploits (Daniel 11:32) for their God, living out their Kingdom calling to impact the world around them.

2025 decision drivers

Our DECISION DRIVERs

Our decision drivers are guiding principles which help us remain aligned with God’s heart for His church. It ensures that every choice we make—whether in ministry, mission, outreach, or resource deployment—advances our goal of Empowering God’s people to restore the world. By focusing on what matters most, decision drivers keep us on course, fostering intentionality and unity as we transform lives, from our neighborhoods to the nations, through the power of God’s love.

DECISION DRIVERs

1. Multiply Mature Disciples

We help people go deeper in God, focusing on spiritual practices that support a flourishing in the kingdom. As our lives testify, life transformation is not aimless; it is a guided, community-supported, and intentionally fueled process of becoming more like Christ every day. We see a Church filled with mature disciples who reach new generations with the gospel, transform their communities through hope, and advance the Kingdom of God with insight, sustainability, and impact.

DECISION DRIVERS

2. Invest in New Generations

While God can move in anyone at any age, history and current research suggest that by the time someone reaches 35, her/his likelihood of returning to the faith is lessened greatly. As a Church, we believe it is our profound calling and privilege to reach a new generation to know, love, and follow Christ. We see a young church filled with alive, resilient, compassionate, and missional people who will bring hope, love, and life to a world in need. We make room at the table for the young and welcome their voice.

DECISION DRIVERs

3. Solve Systemic Issues

Addressing symptoms of pain can offer a temporary relief, but tackling and overcoming systemic issues brings lasting generational change. Our response goes beyond words as we actively listen, learn, foster genuine relationships, and collaborate with local partners to advocate for lasting change. We foster hope, uphold dignity, and serve holistically when creating a foundation for true, self-propagating, and long-term transformation.

DECISION DRIVERS

4. Prioritize His Presence

The presence of God is the foundation and source of power of all we do as a Church. When we prioritize His presence, we become a people marked by His love, carrying His light to every corner of our community. We create unhurried space to hear the voice of God and host his presence, believing that only his presence can satisfy our deepest longings and lead us into abundance. We see a church flowing in the things of God, attentive to the voice of his Spirit, and hungry for a Jesus-shaped societal awakening.

DECISION DRIVERs

5. Raise Healthy Leaders

Healthy marketplace and church-space leaders inspire and guide with integrity. They create environments where life flourishes and communities are transformed. Equipping future leaders ensures the Church remains rooted, relevant and effective in advancing God’s mission, addressing the challenges of tomorrow with Spirit-filled courage and creativity. We see a church filled with an abundance of equipped, experienced, and deployable ministry-space and marketplace leaders

DECISION DRIVERS

6. Make Room for More

We are called by God to create space for more people to experience His love and truth. Making room for others is not optional—it reflects God’s heart and mission. The gospel is the ultimate source of hope, healing, and restoration for a broken and searching world, and we are compelled to share it boldly and broadly. We envision a dynamic network of deeply relational church congregations and campus expressions that extend across our region and state, introducing people to Jesus’ transformative power.

2025 Strategy

Our Strategic steps

As we step into 2025, we are excited to introduce these seven strategic steps which will guide us through this year of great increase. These new initiatives are shaped to help us live out our mission and vision with greater impact. From a sharper focus on student engagement and a fresh approach to our service times, to launching a capital campaign and building a new discipleship ecosystem, each step is a deliberate move toward deeper faith, stronger community, and greater Kingdom influence. Together, let’s embrace these opportunities and watch God work in extraordinary ways!

Strategic steps

1. Saturday Evening

We will launch a new Saturday evening worship service helping to alleviate some of our Sunday attendance volume. What’s unique about this new service slot will be how it will serve as a key strategic piece in our “campus development/ launch process”. This new Saturday service time (offering a greater growth potential over Thursday) also allows us to grow financial/leader bandwidth without overly increasing our overhead costs.

STRATEGIC STEPS

2. Thursday Evening

The Thursday evening timeslot will be given to the new generation team to build a bespoke next (new) gen service. We see a church filled with ministry on Thursday evenings from marriages, moms, groups, and now young adults. We will put resources into building out an expanded staff team and launching an all-new MSC-DNA worship service suited and tailored for those trying to find their feet in faith and the world.

Strategic steps

3. New Student Center

We will make the existing building on the south lot a new and designated space for our students (rather than a multipurpose gym space). This building will be designed and equipped as a modern worship space seating in the region of 450+/- students. This space will become the home of all student/ new generation offices. This space will serve as a secondary venue on our campus for seasonal events/ video environments.

STRATEGIC STEPS

4. Capital Campaign

We are taking the first 90 days of 2025 to paint the target of our campaign, define its timeline, ensure its overall phasing, and calculate the costs when considering these new and strategic steps. Essentially, rather than doing a capital campaign for only an “athletic center”, we are instead shaping a campaign around the following: a.) New/next generation, b.) Center strategies (addressing systemic issues), c.) Leadership development plans (church expansion), and d.) Athletic field plans (remaining acreage of the south lot).

Strategic steps

5. Rooted Eco-System

For over 12 months now, we’ve been working behind the scenes to prepare for our 2025 launch of Rooted, our all-new discipleship system. We will be putting increased promotional and pastoral effort behind the launch semester in January and the second semester in the Fall. Rooted remains a lead strategic step in our maturity eco-system.

STRATEGIC STEPS

6. Family Restoration Center

We are putting time, energy, and new resources behind the spiritual, cultural, and organizational alignment of the Center (strategies) and the Church (ministries). This will involve, but not be limited to, a new level of collaboration between the staff teams and structures of all entities. Also, while continuing to support various key local ventures we esteem, the Center (and all elements therein) will become our primary “local missions” expression in 2025. In the years ahead, we see a Church and Center growing together in the state of Colorado with rising levels of resource, rhythm, and partnership.

Strategic steps

7. Leadership System/ Institute

Simply stated, Churches and Centers need leaders. Not only this, but we also desire to equip and resource marketplace business leaders and key organizational influencers to be grounded, godly, and healthy. To this end, in the latter part of 2025, we will experiment with new programs and approaches to equip both realms of kingdom leaders.
