Mountain Springs Church is made up of a body of believers who seek to live and give both inside and outside the walls of the building in which we worship. Mountain Springs Church is committed to helping restore the lives of our lost and hurting neighbors. We’re especially passionate about helping at risk kids through our school partnerships with Pioneer Elementary, Vista Ridge High School, Giberson Elementary and the D49 Community Engagement Team. We’re helping address food insecurity issues through our Fresh Start Center partnership and our aquaponic greenhouse. The greenhouse not only provides year-round fresh produce to thousands of food insecure families but has also, through our intern program, become a place of healing and restoration for teenage girls rescued from human trafficking. Through lots of prayer, relationship building and soul searching we’ve been able to expand our impact by joining forces with many other like-minded churches and organizations to help meet the needs of the elderly, single moms, under-resourced and frontline workers throughout our community. Our collaborative city-wide partnerships with CarePortal, COSILoveYou, Humblewood Woodworking and others continue to allow us to bring the tangible loving presence of God to our community in measurable, profound ways.
Globally, have sent teams to Mexico to help with home building projects and street ministry to the homeless and working with a grade school in an impoverished area of Tijuana. We’ve also been able to assist in international relief to Amazon jungle pastors, famine relief and education in Central Asia, and Ukraine.
In August 2022, we opened the MSC Family Restoration Center which houses the Fresh Start Center and the MSC Counseling Center. The counseling center has 5 full time counselors and 6 interns meeting the mental health needs of the community.
At Mountain Springs Church we empower God’s people to change the world. In partnership with the Lord, we work tirelessly to transform lives from our neighborhoods to the nations through the power of His love. It is of the highest priority that every financial gift received by our church is stewarded well and invested wisely into kingdom advancement. As God is generous towards us, we too are generous to sow into our region and thus, are eager to share with you what we believe is our great kingdom stewardship. We want to know that every gift given will have a significant impact to reach and restore our community. Our teams of leaders have unified with faith around our vision of restoration and salvation.
Stewardship – God owns everything, we are merely his managers. Stewardship means as children of God we are called to manage what God entrusts to our care. His blessings, His way, for His glory.
Generosity – Generosity is a lifestyle in which we demonstrate God’s love. At its core, it is the graceful and willing response to share with others through personal sacrifice what God has given to us.
Giving – Giving is what a person does when they embrace the promises of stewardship and generosity. People will give to things that break their hearts, and for which they are grateful.
