David proudly hails from the land of milk and honey—also known as BBQ and Tex-Mex—in the great state of Texas. He kicked off his ministry journey as a Christian recording artist, spending his early years on the road. But somewhere between sound-checks and worship sets, he discovered his true calling: equipping leaders and serving the local church. Trading tour life for church life, David stepped into a worship leader role in the DFW Metroplex—where he also met his wife, Susan (arguably his best decision to date). Together, they’re raising three awesome kids—Trevor, Briley, and Kaylie—who, thankfully, inherited more of Susan’s traits than his. In 2019, the Frush family packed up their Texas roots and headed to Colorado. They’ve embraced the mountain views and outdoor lifestyle, though their loyalty to proper BBQ and Tex-Mex remains unwavering. Today, David brings his passion for developing leaders and growing impactful ministries to his role as the Outreach and Expansion Director at Mountain Springs. He considers it a privilege to help others thrive and to be part of what God is building in and through the local church.
